I started this LJ in September 2004 as a way to write about my transsexuality (although I have plenty of ordinary, every-day type posts). At that point I had fully accepted it for about two years, but had done little besides research and trying to convince myself to come out of the closet.

In September 2006, I had been on hormones for over a year and had started my full-time transition. Around this time I became active in various TG-related LJ communities.

In December 2007 I had accomplished all of my five-year plan related to my transition. I am close to full recovery from my desired surgeries, and am enjoying life.

I am currently the web mistress and a board member of the Houston GLBT Political Caucus. This is the main outlet for my political activities as we address many issues, work with elected officials, and strive to get quality candidates elected. Most of my efforts are behind the scenes, helping the organization to run efficiently so that our more visible members can focus on being the face of the caucus.

I have also been a web mistress for the Houston Equal Rights Alliance, and a member of the Pride Houston IT Committee.
